When the StartUpdate method is called, values are periodically obtained from the PLC and the cache is updated. Values in the cache can be quickly obtained using the GetVal method.

Also, automatic updates will only occur for folders that have the "Update values at the specified cycle" setting checked (automatic updates are performed in a separate task from VisualBasic, so they will not stop the operation of VisualBasic).
