Browser tag

What is Browser tag?

Browser tag is a tag that can only be used within Panel Browser. It is primarily used for temporary processing on the screen, but it also contains tags that store status such as the current communication status of the system and the user level.

Browser tag can be used in bindings, scripts, etc. just like a normal tag.

List of devices for Browser tag

The Browser tag format always starts with a "$". The following devices can be used:

Device Name

Data Types

Usable range

meaning

$#[usertagname]

Free (including arrays)

No restrictions

When this format is specified, the user can freely specify a name to generate a Browser tag. The data type is determined by the value written. If no value has been written, the data type will be #NOTHING#.

Example: $#tag01

$D

Numeric types

$D0 to $D9999

This is a numeric type (floating point type) tag.

$M

Boolean

$M0 - $M9999

This is a Boolean (TRUE or FALSE) tag.

$S

Character types

$S0 to $S9999

A string type tag.

$BLINK

Boolean

$BLINK1 ~

$BLINK864000000

This is a blinking tag. Specify the blink interval in ms after $BLINK. $BLINK1000 repeats TRUE (On) /FALSE (Off) every second. You can use this tag in a bind to blink colors, visibility, etc.

$INC

Numeric types

$INC1 ~

$INC864000000

This tag increases the value by 1 every specified period. Specify the period in ms after $INC.

$INC1000 will continue to increase by 1 every second. When the value reaches 4294967295/cycle, it will return to 0.

$SIN

Numeric types

$SIN1 ~

$SIN864000000

This is a tag for the SIN value (-1 to 1) that changes at a specified period. Specify the period in ms after $SIN.

$COS

Numeric types

$COS1 ~

$COS864000000

This is a tag with a COS value (-1 to 1) that changes at a specified period. Specify the period in ms after $COS.

$HSIN

Numeric types

$HSIN1 ~

$HSIN864000000

This is a tag of a SIN value that changes at a specified period.

Unlike the $SIN tag, it ranges from 0 to 100. The H in $HSIN stands for hundred (100).

$HCOS

Numeric types

$HCOS1 ~

$HCOS864000000

A tag with a COS value that changes at a specified interval.

Unlike the $COS tag, it ranges from 0 to 100. The H in $COS stands for hundred (100).

$NOW

Time type

$NOW

The current time, measured in seconds.

$SYS

Numeric types

$SYS0 ~ $SYS2

System information. Each address has a special meaning.

The meaning of each address is as follows:

tag

explanation

$SYS0

Represents the connection status to Panel Server.

0 - Not connected (no login prompt)

1 - Attempting to connect (attempting to connect but not yet complete)

2 - Connecting (successfully connected)

$SYS1

If Panel Server is duplicated, this represents the node number of the currently connected Panel Server. If Panel Server is not duplicated, this is always 1.

1 - Node1 (Panel Server on the IP configured in PSNode)

2 - Node2 (Panel Server on the IP configured on PSNode2)

$SYS2

This is the connection status with the node. If Panel Server is not duplicated, it is the same as $SYS0.

0 - Not connected (no login prompt)

1 - Attempting to connect to Node1 (attempting to connect but not yet complete)

2 - Connected to Node1 (connected successfully)

3 - Attempting to connect to Node2 (Attempting to connect, but not yet complete)

4 - Connected to Node2 (connected successfully)

hint

The "not connected" state means that no connection has been made because no login instructions have been issued.

Normally, the PSLoginStartup root property is set to AUTO to automatically log in when the system starts up, but if for some reason the connection to Panel Server does not work, $SYS0 will become "1 - Attempting connection".

Additionally, if a connection to Panel Server is successfully established, $SYS0 will be set to "2 - Connected." If there is no need to distinguish between "0 - Not connected" and "1 - Attempting to connect," you can determine whether or not a connection to Panel Server is established by checking whether $SYS0 is set to 2 (connected) or not (not connected).

$SOUND

Numeric types

$SOUND0 ~

$SOUND1

It is used to control the "Sound Select" part in the parts library.

The meaning of each address is as follows:

tag

explanation

$SOUND0

$SOUND0 is used to stop sound playback and select sounds for the sound select component.

Writing 0 to $SOUND0 will stop sound selection from playing. Writing an integer between 1 and 10 to $SOUND0 will play the sound file with the specified sound number.

$SOUND1 is used to control whether sound selection is enabled or disabled. Writing 0 to $SOUND1 disables it, and writing 1 enables it. Note that writing 1 to $SOUND1 resets $SOUND0 to 0.

$SOUND1

$SOUND1 is used to control whether the sound select component is enabled or disabled.

Writing 0 to $SOUND1 disables it, writing 1 enables it. Note that writing 1 to $SOUND1 resets $SOUND0 to 0.

$USERLEVEL

Numeric types

$USERLEVEL

This holds the user level of the user currently logged in to Panel Server. This is the same value as the PSUserLevel route property.
