What is FA-Panel?
"FA-Panel" is a package software developed for building SCADA/HMI systems.
A SCADA（Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition） system is a system used to monitor and control equipment based on measurement data collected from target facilities. Also, HMI (HMI) refers to the monitoring and operation screens that mainly serve as the interface between equipment and operators.
FA-Panel is a package that simply and flexibly provides a variety of powerful functions necessary to build a SCADA system, such as communication with PLC (supports approximately 100 models), graphic display, alarm monitoring, data logger, trend graphs, and reports.

Application configuration for FA-Panel
FA-Panel consists of three applications: Panel Editor, Panel Browser, and Panel Server.

Panel Editor |
Panel Editor is an editing tool for creating screens. Use this tool to create graphic screens. Screen information created with Panel Editor is saved in a "settings file" (XML format). |

Panel Browser |
Panel Browser is a client application for running screens as runtime. It reads the "settings file" (XML) of the screen created with Panel Editor and displays it at runtime. |

Panel Server |
Panel Server is a server application that processes communication with PLC, alarms, data logs, reports, etc. Panel Browser obtains PLC signals, alarm information, history information, etc. by connecting to Panel Server. Multiple Panel Browser can connect to one Panel Server at the same time. Panel Server must always be running during operation. |
