Setting and retrieval examples

AxEng1.ErrLogAddDateToFileName = True

Commentary

When ErrLog is True, an error log will be obtained with the file name specified in ErrLogFileName.

The ErrLogOverWrite property sets whether the file should be overwritten if it already exists (usually False).

The ErrLogAddDateToFileName property specifies whether to add the date to the end of the error log file name. If you specify True, the error log will be saved by date with a file name such as "xxx20170201.txt".

When the ErrLogSaveDays property is True, log files older than the number of days specified in the ErrLogSaveDaysTerm property are automatically deleted. Note that the ErrLogSaveDays/ErrLogSaveDaysTerm properties are only valid when the ErrLogAddDateToFileName property is True. These properties can also be set from the "Error Log" property page.
