Save the main view screen to an image file.

 

syntax

TakeScreenshot(

         fileName

         [,fileFormat = "bmp"]

         [,width = -1]

         [,height = -1]

         )

 

Parameters

 

fileName

 

Type:

character

 

The image file name.

 

fileFormat

 

Type:

character

 

The file format to save in.

"bmp" - bitmap files

"jpg" - jpeg file

 

width

 

Type:

Number

 

Image width in pixels. -1 means true size.

 

height

 

Type:

Number

 

Image height in pixels. -1 means true size.

 

Return Value

 

 

Type:

Boolean

 

FALSE - Failure. TRUE - Success.

Saves the image as it is displayed on the screen to an image file.

Saves the screen to an image file. Unlike TakeScreenshot, it can capture the entire form in the image even if the whole form is not displayed due to the scroll bar.

 

When run as a root method, it creates image files for the main view only.
