Panel Server toolbar icon

Toolbar Icons

Various icons are located at the top of Panel Server to provide easy access to frequently used functions.

Create a new server configuration file.

Open the server configuration file.

Save the file.

 

fap_sv_0010

Shows or hides the property page.

This will take Panel Server offline. Taking it offline will stop various server processes such as communication with PLC and logging.

 

fap_sv_0012

Puts Panel Server online (debug mode). In debug mode, actions and events work, but each communication unit is in a virtual communication state and does not communicate with PLC. Use this when testing when PLC is not at hand.

 

fap_sv_0013

Puts Panel Server online (monitor mode). In this mode, actual communication with PLC takes place. You can view current values from various views on the Panel Server screen, write values, etc.

Puts Panel Server online (fastest mode). In this mode, Panel Server runs minimized in the task tray. Double-clicking the task tray icon switches it to online (monitor mode).

Open the manual.

Displays the currently selected tags and other parameters.

Click the Copy button on the right to copy the parameter string to the clipboard.

By configuring Panel Server to start automatically, the runtime can be executed automatically when Panel Server starts up. For details on system operation, such as configuring automatic startup, see "System Installation and Operation".
