Priority of operation status

Priority of operation status

Up to 10 operating conditions can be registered for a facility. When setting the operating conditions, it is necessary to assign a "priority" to each condition.

Priority is an integer number that indicates which operating status should be displayed first when multiple operating statuses exist simultaneously.

In determining priority, the lower the number, the higher the priority. Also, if the same priority number is assigned to multiple operation states, they will be processed in ascending order of the status ID.

Priority numbers do not necessarily have to be consecutive numbers. For example, you can assign numbers with skipped numbers, such as 10, 100, 120, etc.

It is also possible to assign overlapping priority numbers to multiple health states.

When Priority is Applied

The operating status priority is used in the following cases:

■ Displaying the operation status monitor

Messages in the Operation Status Monitor are displayed according to priority.

For example, the following state has "Driving" (priority: 5) ON.

If "Abnormal" (priority level: 1) is turned ON at the same time, the abnormal message display will take priority.

■ Time aggregation processing such as operating hours

The aggregation of various times such as operating time, stopped time, and ON time1 is performed according to priority. If the conditions for multiple operating states are met at the same time, only the ON time of the operating state with the highest priority is added. Because of this mechanism, the time of an aggregation category and the sum of the ON times of each operating state belonging to that aggregation category will be the same time.

For example, if the operating states "Stopped" (priority: 4), "On call" (priority: 3), and "Handling" (priority: 2) are registered as belonging to the same aggregation classification "Stopped," the calculated times for each will be as shown in the figure below.

hint

When tallying up the number of times an operation status is in progress, the number of times it is stopped, etc., the number of times each operation status is ON is added up regardless of priority.
