What to do when the PC clock is reset
When the PC clock is reset due to time adjustment, problems may occur if data older than the last saved time is saved. For example, unexpected display may occur on trend graphs.
With Logger Action, you can choose from the following three processes regarding the behavior when you try to save data older than the time of the last saved data after resetting the PC clock.
item |
Operation |
Save as is
|
Save the file with the PC time. |
Modify and save to the last saved time
|
Logging will be performed with the same time as the last saved time data. |
Do not store data
|
It will not log data until the last saved time has passed. |
When using trend graphs or Daily/Monthly/Yearly Report actions, we recommend "Modify and save to the last saved time" (or "Do not save data" in some cases). |
If logging is performed while the PC date has been mistakenly changed to a future date, depending on the settings of this setting, logging may not be performed until the mistakenly set future date has passed. In that case, please reset the PC clock to the correct date and manually delete the mistakenly generated log data for future dates. |
