PLC side settings
Set the switch on the front of the "AJ71UC24". For details about the switch, refer to the manufacturer's manual. After setting as follows, be sure to reset the PLC once.

*For units with other model numbers, set the "mode setting switch" to "1 (dedicated protocol format 1)", "data bit" to "8 bits", and "stop bit" to "1 bit".
RS-232C cable precautions The default setting for the "AJ71UC21" is "CD terminal check enabled." If you want to wire the unit without checking the CD terminals, you will need to add one line of ladder code. For details, see page 4-23 of the "Computer Link/Multidrop Link Unit User's Manual" (manual type name "KEISANKI-U-KP").
