Precautions for Use
This connection method uses a private protocol, but is not recommended due to its slow communication speed.
Unless you have a specific reason not to, use the public protocol.
About the connection example
Please see below for an example of connection settings for this driver.

Important Notes
When accessing the target station by inserting a MELSECNET/10(H) unit or Ethernet unit in the target station, set the values specified in the parameter settings of the target station unit for the "Network number of the target station unit" and "Station number of the target station unit".
When accessing the target station by inserting a MELSECNET/10(H) unit or an Ethernet unit, set the station number specified in the parameter settings of the Ethernet unit of the connecting station to the "Station number of the connecting station unit." Make sure that the [Communication protocol] in "Advanced settings" matches the communication protocol set in the parameters of the Ethernet unit of the connecting station.
For "PC port number", please set the following value according to the communication protocol you use.
For UDP/IP:
If the parameter setting of the connecting station Ethernet unit is other than "Automatic response method", set it to "5001".
If the parameter setting of the connecting station's Ethernet unit is "Automatic response method", specifying "Auto" will automatically assign an available port number in the PC. If a value other than "Auto" is set, the specified port number will be used.
For TCP/IP:
Please select "Automatic". A free port number in the computer will be automatically assigned.
For "PC network number", specify the same network number as the MELSECNET/10 network number set in the Ethernet unit in the parameter settings of the connecting station Ethernet unit.
For "PC side station number", set a value that does not overlap with the station number set in the Ethernet unit within the same Ethernet loop.
For "Port number of the connection station unit", set the following value according to the communication protocol you use.
For UDP/IP: Please set it to "5001".
For TCP/IP: Please set it to "5002".
