About the selection of PLC

The target station is the PLC that is actually accessed. The target station is as follows depending on the connection method.

・When accessing a connected station: The target station will be the "connected station."

・When accessing one station via another: The target station will be "one station via another."

・When accessing station 2 via: The target station will be the "station 2 via."

In the explanations, access to the "connected station" is sometimes referred to as "own station access," and access to the "via station 1" and "via station 2" is sometimes referred to as "other station access."

When selecting a PLC on the following screen, the PLC is determined based on the communication method between the connected station and the computer and the PLC type of the target station.

When communicating with an A series PLC via a direct connection to the CPU port,MELSEC-A series CPU port direct connection"

When connecting to a Q series PLC directly via the CPU port and then communicating with an A series PLC via MELSECNET/10,MELSEC-A series CPU port direct connection"

This is because although the PLC that connects to the PC is a Q Series, the target station that actually communicates is an A Series.
