Settings Dialog Details (Public Protocols)

Ethernet Common

PC settings

c_plc_0045

Computer IP address
The IP address of your computer. If you select Automatic, a default IP address will be set.

Computer port number
Port number on the computer side. If you set it to "Automatic", an available port will be selected.
If you want to communicate using TCP instead of UDP, set it to Automatic.

Unit side settings

c_plc_0046

Unit IP Address
The IP address of PLC.

Ping test
Perform a ping test. If successful, it means that the network is physically connected.

Unit Port Number
PLC port number. You can also use an environment variable.

Communication details

c_plc_0047

Waiting time
Response timeout from PLC.

Retry count
When a communication error occurs, the system will retry the specified number of times.

protocol
Select UDP or TCP.

Share the PC port number with other PLCs
In the case of this PLC, this has no particular meaning.

Other detailed settings

c_plc_0048

Minimum Communication Interval
Specifies the waiting time on the PC side after receiving a device value from PLC and before the next transmission.

CPU Watchdog Timer
Specifies the waiting time on the PLC side from when it receives a command from the PC until it returns a response to that command. If you are referencing other PLC devices via MELSECNET or CC-Link, be sure to set an appropriate time (if you set the CPU monitoring timer to 0 and the other PLC goes into a state where its power is cut off, Ethernet communication itself will be disabled).
For more information, please refer to the PLC manual.
