ClearData

 

Delete the plot data.

 

syntax

ClearData(

         penNo,

         [maxPoints = 0]

         )

 

Parameters

 

penNo

Type:

Number

Pen number (1~). Specifying 0 will delete all pen data.

 

maxPoints

Type:

Number

Number of data to be held. If 0, all data will be deleted. If a positive value is specified, old data will be deleted and only the specified maxPoints of data will remain. If a negative value is specified, new data will be deleted and only the specified maxPoints of data will remain.

Deletes the plot data for a specified pen or for all pens.

When deleting 10 old data items

 

 

var vCount = xxx.GetDataCount(PenNo);
if (vCount > 10) {
    xxx.ClearData(PenNo, vCount - 10);
} else {
    xxx.ClearData(PenNo, 0);
}

 

When deleting 10 new records

 

 

var vCount = xxx.GetDataCount(PenNo);
if (vCount > 10) {
    xxx.ClearData(PenNo, (vCount - 10) * -1);
} else {
    xxx.ClearData(PenNo, 0);
