Access Pass

The access path is a function that allows you to omit the initial characters of a tag path defined such as U01.F01.T01.

If you set the access path to "U01.F01.", the string "U01.F01." will be automatically added to all tag accesses.

The access path is set in the root property "PSTagAccessPath".

example)

If the tags "U01.F01.T01", "U01.F01.T02", and "U01.F01.T03" are defined in Panel Server and "U01.F01." is set as the access path, the tags can be accessed from Panel Browser by referencing "T01", "T02", and "T03".

Actual registered tags

Setting the access path (PSTagAccessPath property of the root)

U01.F01.

Regarding the PSTagAccessPath propertyFor more details, see "Route Properties".

hint

For example, if all tags are registered under the U01.F01 folder, setting the access path to "U01.F01." will cause all tag names to be internally processed with the characters "U01.F01." appended, so in the bind you only need to specify the tag name, excluding the unit name and folder name. However, please note that if you set the access path to "U01.F01.", you will not be able to connect to any tags other than those of the PLC in the U01 unit.
