Displaying user dialogs modally
Depending on the user's needs, you may want to prevent touching the rear screen until the dialog is closed.
In such a case, you can either display the dialog as the foreground dialog beforehand using the "OpenModalDialog" method, or call "OpenDialog" and then call the root "SetModalDialog" method to switch to modal display after displaying the dialog. In modal display, the window will be displayed in the foreground and you will not be able to operate the window or move it forward or backward.
If you call SetModalDialog, make sure to call it immediately after OpenDialog.

SetModalDialog can also be used for common dialogs.
example) ::OpenMsg("Hello"); ::SetModalDialog("ViewRCMsg");
For details, refer to the root method "SetModalDialog" in the Control Reference. |
