GetSelectedCol

 

Gets the display index of the currently selected column.

 

syntax

GetSelectedCol(

         [&startDisplayCol]

         [,&endDisplayCol]

         )

 

Parameters

 

&startDisplayCol

Type:

Number

Display index of the top left column of the selected cell range.

 

&endDisplayCol

Type:

Number

Display index of the bottom right column of the selected cell range.

 

Return Value

Type:

Number

Display index of the selected column, -1 if not selected.

Gets the display indexes of the currently selected columns, if there are no selections it will return -1.

Specify startDisplayCol/endDisplayCol if you want to know the cell range when multiple cells can be selected.

If only a single cell can be selected, there is no need to specify arguments for startDisplayCol/endDisplayCol and the return value, as they will all return the same value.
