explanation

LibType

Specifies the type of library.

OPENCV

Use OpenCV.

It is possible to play video files and view network cameras (KMJPEG/H.264). It is characterized by its light processing, and it is possible to display multiple screens at the same time using split display, etc. However, it does not support audio.

DIRECTSHOW

Use DirectShow.

Supports audio. Suitable for playing video files that require audio, such as device guidance and operation manuals. DirectShow is a heavy processor, so you cannot create a screen that displays multiple video players simultaneously, such as split screen. To support various video formats, you need to install a codec pack such as LAVFilters. If you want to play video files that do not require audio, OPENCV is recommended.

FileType

Specifies the file type.

FILE

Video file.

attention

We have confirmed that when you select DIRECTSHOW in LibType and specify URL in File, the application may lock up depending on the codec pack installation status.
