Notes
Common to all CPUs
For information on how to set up CPU and various communication units, please refer to the manual for each CPU or unit. When setting the "I/O number", set the value to "1/16" of the first I/O number of the target unit.
When accessing other stations via the Ethernet unit, set the MELSECNET/10 routing information in the Ethernet unit. In addition, specify a method other than "Automatic response" (IP address calculation method, table conversion method, or combined method) for the "MELSECNET/10 routing method." The available values for the "Transmission speed" setting in "Port settings" vary depending on the type of CPU of the connected station.

Set the [Flow Control] setting in "Port Settings" according to the cable you are using.
Q Series Q Mode
When installing an Ethernet unit in the target station to access other stations, set the values specified in the Ethernet unit's parameter settings to "Network number of target station unit" and "Station number of target station unit." If you select "Multiple CPUs - Management CPU" in "Access target CPU," "Single CPU" will be selected when you open the setting screen again, but this occurs because the internal settings for both are the same, and does not affect operation.
Q Series A Mode/A Series
When connecting a Q Series Q mode CPU to a connection station and installing a CC-Link unit in the target station to access other stations, the CC-Link unit must be ROM version "S" or later in order to operate correctly.
QnA Series
When accessing other stations by installing an Ethernet unit in the target station, set the values specified in the Ethernet unit's parameter settings to the "Network number of the target station unit" and "Station number of the target station unit." When connecting a Q series Q mode CPU to the connecting station and installing a CC-Link unit in the target station to access other stations, the CC-Link unit must be ROM version "S" or later in order to operate correctly.
FX Series
Access to stations other than the connected station (access to other stations) is not possible.
