Running FA-Client

FA-Client operation settings

Before running FA-Client, you must define the operating settings in the client configuration file (FAClient.txt).

The client configuration file defines the IP address and port number of the destination FA-Server, as well as the operation settings for each screen.

For information on how to edit the client configuration file, see "Client Settings".

Running FA-Client

There are the following ways to run FA-Client.

■Start from the Start menu

You can start FA-Client from the Start menu.

■ Launching via shortcut

When you install FA-Server, "FAClient6.exe" will be stored in the installation folder. This file is the executable file for FA-Client. If you create a shortcut to launch this executable file, you can launch it from the shortcut.

In addition, be sure to specify the path of the installation folder as the "working folder" set for the shortcut.
