System configuration and operation mode
|
This package allows you to operate the monitoring system using various system configurations.
You can configure anything from the simplest setup using just one PC, to a client/server setup using multiple PCs, or even redundancy by duplicating the Panel Server.
For details on system configuration and operation mode, please refer to the link on the left.

Panel Server is a server application that performs various server processes such as communication with PLC, alarms, and data logging.
Various settings made from Panel Server during development (such as communication settings with PLC, tags, action and event settings, etc.) are saved in a text file called a "server configuration file." Then, Panel Server must be started on the actual PC that runs the system, and the "server configuration file" created during development must be read and executed at runtime (online execution).
For more information about running the server at runtime, see the link on the left.

Panel Browser is an application for executing screens created with Panel Editor at runtime.
During operation, start Panel Browser on the PC on which you want to display the client screen, and load and execute the "client configuration file (xml)" created in Panel Editor to display the monitoring screen.
For more information about the client's runtime implementation, see the link on the left.
