Panel Browser startup options

Panel Browser startup options

You can specify parameters when launching Panel Browser. By passing these parameters from the command line or shortcuts, you can customize the behavior when the browser is launched.

The format for specifying options is as follows:

□□/option1□/option2□.../optionX

•□ represents a half-width space.

• specifies the path to the client config file you want to open at startup.

•/option1 to /optionX are other option specifications.

hint

If you encrypted the configuration file during the setup process, make sure to specify a file with the extension "brw" (e.g. client.brw) as the client configuration file.

hint

When specifying the "Panel Browser installation path" and "Server configuration file path", if the path contains half-width spaces (such as "Program Files"), the entire path must be enclosed in double quotation marks.

hint

You can also start the program by specifying only the options, without specifying the path name of the client configuration file. For example, if you want to limit the number of Panel Browser that can be started simultaneously on a PC when running Panel Browser by direct login, run the program by specifying the "InstanceMax" option below.

The options that can be specified in /option1 to /optionX are as follows.

option

explanation

/InstanceMax: Maximum number of instances to launch

Specify the maximum number of Panel Browser instances that can be launched on the same PC.

/InstanceName: Launch name

If there are multiple client configuration files that you want to run on a client PC, you can specify the startup name and then specify the InstanceMax for each startup name.

Example) To start up to one Panel Browser that executes sample.xml

sample.xml /InstanceMax:1

Example) If you want to launch up to 1 system1.xml and up to 2 system2.xml (please create 2 shortcuts)

Shortcut for system1 ... system1.xml /InstanceMax:1 /InstanceName:system1

Shortcut for system2 ... system2.xml /InstanceMax:2 /InstanceName:system2

/Startup:

You can specify the xml file name to be used on the startup screen. The startup screen is the login screen that is displayed when you start Panel Browser without specifying a client configuration file. If you want to customize the login screen, you can specify your own client configuration file.

/StartupMonitor:

In the case of multiple monitors, specify the monitor number to be displayed at startup as an integer value. 0 is the primary monitor. Numbers 1 and above are sub monitors.

/StartupWaitingTime: Waiting time

Specifies the wait time before starting the application in milliseconds. (Specify 1000 for 1 second.)

/Login:INI file name

By defining the parameters required for direct login in an INI file and passing the file name, you can specify and execute the direct login behavior.

For information on how to set up the INI file for login, please see "About Login INI".

hint

The parameters that can be specified together with the "/Login" parameter are limited to the following.

/InstanceMax

/InstanceName

/StartupMonitor

/StartupWaitingTime

/Inifile:INI File name

This is the same setting as the Inifile root property. If specified, the Inifile root property will be ignored and the Inifile specified in the options will be loaded.

/InifileSection:Section specification

This is the same setting as the InifileSection root property. If specified, the InifileSection root property will be ignored and the InifileSection specified in the options will be used.

/Show:hide

Starts Panel Browser without displaying the screen. Specify this when creating an application that you want to process in the background.
