Demand graph update cycle
The update cycle of the demand graph depends on the update cycle of the event that performs the update process of the demand action. In the initial setting of the demand function of the screen library, the demand update cycle is set to Scheduled event, which occurs at 0 seconds of every minute, with a cycle of 1 minute. Therefore, in this case, the demand graph is updated at 1 minute cycles. The internal processing of the demand action reads the power counter value based on this display update cycle, calculates the demand power value, and stores it in memory as log data (plot data).
This update interval (event call interval) must be set appropriately depending on the number of seconds at which the metering counter for the amount of electricity used changes.
For example, if the metering counter changes every minute, the update interval for the demand graph should also be set to 1 minute. If the event update interval is set to 10 seconds even though the metering counter changes every minute, the demand graph will stretch horizontally because the past log data for the demand power value is stored internally in 10-second intervals, even though the power counter value does not change for 1 minute. As a result, the slope of the demand forecast will jump up, which may result in a false alarm.
