overview
Here, we will introduce an example of building a detailed operation monitoring system as "Implementation Level 2."
■ Explanation of this example
In addition to equipment operation and shutdown, occurrence of malfunctions is captured as signals. In addition, "calls" from workers due to malfunctions or shutdowns, and "treatment in progress" status by managers are also captured as signals.
In addition to monitoring the operation status using the operation status monitor screen (Andon display), it is possible to tally up operation times, calculate operation rates, and display abnormal times, number of breakdowns, and number of calls.
■ Anticipated needs
•We want to receive "operating", "stopped", and "fault" signals from the target equipment and monitor its operating status in detail.
•We would like to provide "call" and "treatment" push buttons on the machine side and input these as signals to realize the function of a call andon.
•Based on the collected operation status, we would like to understand and analyze "operation time," "stop time," "abnormal time," "operation rate," "number of breakdowns," and "number of calls."
•It does not manage production targets or production results.

Design of operation monitoring
|
•Organize the requirements for the equipment to be monitored. •We organize the signals to be captured from the target equipment and design the tags. |
|
Building a project and registering tags
|
•Use the wizard function of the standard framework to create a new project that includes operation monitoring. •For a standard project, define units and tags to import signals from the target equipment. |
Create new standard projects using the wizard function and register tags to Panel Server |
Operation monitoring settings registration
|
•You can register settings for operation monitoring from the operation monitoring settings registration screen. |
