overview
Here, we will introduce an example of building an operation monitoring system that involves collecting production results as "Implementation Level 3."
■ Explanation of this construction example
In addition to the detailed operation monitoring (collection of operation, stop, failure, call, and treatment) introduced in introduction level 2, it also captures signals that serve as production triggers. In this example, the production trigger is captured as a pulse signal and counted up by the operation monitoring function to grasp the actual production number.
In addition, by setting production targets on the screen, you can display the progress rate based on the targets and actual results.
■ Anticipated needs
•We want to receive "operating", "stopped", and "fault" signals from the target equipment and monitor its operating status in detail.
•We would like to provide "call" and "treatment" buttons on the machine side and input these as signals to realize the function of a call andon.
•We want to collect production results from equipment and understand progress by comparing them with production targets.
•Based on the collected operation status and production results, we want to understand and analyze "production targets," "production results," "progress rate," "operation time," "downtime," and "abnormal time."

Design of operation monitoring
|
•Organize the requirements for the equipment to be monitored. •We organize the signals to be captured from the target equipment and design the tags. |
|
Building a project and registering tags
|
•Use the wizard function of the standard framework to create a new project that includes operation monitoring. •For a standard project, define units and tags to import signals from the target equipment. |
Create new standard projects using the wizard function and register tags to Panel Server |
Operation monitoring settings registration
|
•You can register settings for operation monitoring from the operation monitoring settings registration screen. •It allows you to set up the import of production results, set goals, and calculate progress rates. |
