Simple common dialogEdit box onlyOpens the text keyboard modally.

Parameters

 

target

 

Type:

Object

 

Reflects the entered characters Edit box control.

 

linkOS

 

Type:

Boolean

 

When TRUE, the following keys will be adjusted to match the OS state.

- Set the "A/a" key to match the state of the Caps Lock key on your OS.

- Adjust the "a" key to match the IME state of the OS.

 

Return Value

 

 

Type:

Boolean

 

FALSE - Failure. TRUE - Success.

This modally opens a text keyboard exclusively for the edit box of the simple common dialog. When you press the OK button, the characters you enter are automatically reflected in the edit box.
